Downloading Atheros Drivers

Atheros drivers, quite simply, are needed for all of your Atheros communications devices. Atheros is an industry leader in WLAN (Wireless Local Area Network) chipset technology. What this means is that Atheros chips and drivers are incorporated into many other WLAN products using 802.11 wireless protocols.

Atheros drivers, when used in conjunction with their chipsets, reduces the amount of power an 802.11 wireless device uses. Basically, the power consumption on your computer’s PWS (power supply).
